Backed by a passionate support from the Guyana Boys team as the risen to greatness as the Guyana Girls bagged ย a 1-0 victory over home team Barbados in the 2025 Junior Pan American Challenge at the Sir Garfield Sports Complex.
With the game in play both teams looked strong but it was Mistake in the first quarter from the Barbadian defense resulted in Guyana finding the back of the net as it increased their confidence and drive some power heading into the second quarter of the game.
The second quarter would see both teams looking to score goals with the Guyana with their swift ability to pierce defenses followed by attacking play from the Barbados Outfit as both teams failed to put the ball behind the net resulting in a scoreless quarter and the lead in favor of the Guyanese Women.
The Third quarter saw the Barbados Outfit looking to pouncing on the Guyana Defense but it the was quick reflexes from Keeper Sarah henry that managed to kept shots from the between the post as they managed to maintain their lead going into the final quarter with the 1 goal advantage.
The Girls from the โLand of Many Waters โwould go on to raised their heads high as they secured the win in the fourth as they showed their class with their athletic and prowess ability with the stick in hand.
