Filled with buckets was the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall on Sunday as the Georgetown Under 18 in the KFC Regional Tournament on Friday at the National Gymnasium as Saint Stanishlaus and Government Technical Institute recorded wins.
Despite having a young team Saints Stanislaus managed to tramp over St. Roses High School as they acquired a 15 โ points victory with the scoreline 32-17 as they were able to secure their chances to the bucket.
Kadeem Beckes continues to dominate the court as he proves to be pivotal in the Saints Stanislaus team as he led the offensive unit swishing 18 points, 5 steals and following was Daniel Chishol with 8 points, 5 rebounds, 5 steals, 4 assist.
On the losing hand Chazaiah Bernard was the architect behind the offensive as he scored 7 points while Jason Goppy contributed 6 points.
Government Technical Institute with their ability to control their court as they annilhated and limited the School of the Nations offensive attack as they recorded a 38 โ points win as they accreted their dominance.
Swishing 20 points and 8 rebounds was Alwyn Adams for the winning side as he received support from Jahiem Barnwell with 14 points and 10 rebounds while Raymon paul not missing out scoring 10 points.
The Regional Tournament will continue today at the same venue and is sponsored by KFC Guyana (title sponsor), with support from Edward B.
