With the action taking place at #5 Ground on Saturday in the Guyana Football Federation 2025 Elite League as Moderlust FC earned themselves a hard fought 1-0 win over Santos FC.
With the massive advantage for the Modderlust Side as they showed they glimpses of improvement with their passes but however failed to score their chances as the Santos managed to hold off the game and would see the game at the end of the first half being a scoreless draw.
With the second half in play the Modderlust outfit would continue their dominance with the ball at their feet but one again failed to cement their chances as the game looked to be scoreless.
With the game in the dying minutes as Jaden Thom would find the net in the 85’ off a cross from a freekick as the ball bubbled within the 18’ yard’s box for Modderlust FC as the goal would go on to seal the win.
The Guyana Football Federation 2025 Elite League will continue at the National Training Center Tonight as Den Amstel FC and Ann’s Grove will battle at 6pm while Guyana Police Force will battle Fruta Conquers.
