In Monday’s MCYS/GCB One Guyana National Under-21 Inter-Club Super50 Knockout Tournament at the Transports Sports Club on Thomas Lands, Andrew Lim Heroics led East Bank Eagles to a three-wicket victory over Transport B.

Transport B chose to bat first with the toss in their favor, and they were restricted to 128 runs due to the failure of consecutive partnerships, with Romeo Deonarine scoring 19 and Shamar Apple putting in 27.

While Roupie Rajarim, Anthony Hutson, and Jovind Duncan each claimed two wickets, Andrew Lim proved to be counterproductive as he took a hat-trick of wickets while struggling to get turn from the ball and maintain line and length consistency.

With Josiah Lim leading the way with the bat, hitting the ball for 36 runs and Andrew Lim adding 31 runs, the East Bank Eagles scored 129 runs, leaving no stone unturned.

Both Shilloh Adams and Newrawl Nicholas contributed to their team’s success by blocking the batting order twice, taking one wicket apiece for Stephon Sankar and Emmanuel Lewis.
